Aviva moves to tackle underinsurance for SMEs

Insurer enhances Shop and Salon as well as Office and Surgery for small business customer polices.

Aviva has made changes to two of its insurance packages in a bid to tackle underinsurance for small businesses, Gareth Hemming, director of SME commercial lines has detailed.

The company has enhanced its Shop and Salon, and, Office and Surgery, packages.

Hemming told Insurance Age that the move was to help customers who were not seeing the full benefit of what their insurance could offer to them.

He said customers who found themselves underinsured would see their overall property sum
