Allianz rolls out new initiative to prevent SME underinsurance
Insurer previously confirmed it would no longer apply average to SME claims.
Allianz has introduced a new initiative targeted at reducing the number of SMEs which are uninsured.
The insurer stated that using internal and external data, it can identify where existing SME customers potentially have an insufficient level of insurance cover.
As of this month the provider is contacting brokers to warn them that their SME customers may be underinsured.
The development follows Allianz's announcement in January that it would no longer apply the traditional market solution of
