Biba attacks FCA renewal warning
Association criticises the suggested FCA renewal wording, warning it is price focused and hits out at sheer number of new regulations to implement.
The British Insurance Brokers Association (Biba) has attacked the detail in the Financial Conduct Authority's proposals on auto-renewals.
The regulator published the proposals, which are designed to encourage consumers to shop around instead of auto renewing policies, earlier this month.
Steve White, Biba CEO, said the association welcomed the idea of encouraging consumers to shop around instead of auto renewing and advised that Biba had worked with the FCA during and after the consultation
