CPPGroup writes off £6.5m plus cash to break with SSP
The credit card, mobile phone, legal and identity insurer said it would develop its own IT platform.
CPPGroup has informed SSP that it wishes to develop its own IT platform instead of using the software house's offering.
The change in strategy will cost the company £6.5m in addition to a cash payment which CPPGroup is currently finalising with SSP.
The firm said the changes were part of a redesign of its operating structure to become more cost effective and flexible.
