GWP drops 23% at legal expenses insurer as parent company injects £5.3m.

Das has reported a loss after tax of £5.7m for 2015, reversing a profit of £500,000 the year before.

Gross written premium at the legal expenses provider dropped by 23% to £110.6m (2014: £143.4m).

The combined operating ratio deteriorated markedly from 103.5% in 2014 to 119.6% in the past year.
