RSA opens Birmingham trading site
Insurer confirms approximately 200 people were made redundant in Birmingham restructure.
RSA has opened its new trading site in Birmingham, stating that its aim is for its key commercial broker partners to be able to trade locally with experienced underwriters.
In January this year, Insurance Age revealed that the insurer was closing its existing Birmingham office and that 190 jobs were under consultation.
According to the insurer, the new trading site, which opened on 30 August, is its largest in the UK with 50 staff based in the office.
