Aviva management team gets surprise reshuffle

Andy Briggs restructures senior team with Colm Holmes to lead global corporate and specialty in addition to general insurance business but Phil Bayles remains broker lead.

Aviva has announced that it will restructure its management team from the second quarter of this year.

The move, which is subject to regulatory approval, follows following the recent announcement to bring together the general insurance, health and life businesses under the leadership of Andy Briggs.

The changes will see Colm Holmes retain his lead of the general insurance business but in addition to this he will also be responsible for global corporate and specialty.
