Saga Insurance CEO exits

Group CEO Euan Sutherland takes over on an interim basis while the business searches for a replacement for Cheryl Agius, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Saga has confirmed that Cheryl Agius is stepping down from her role as chief executive officer of Saga Insurance and as an executive director of Saga plc with immediate effect for personal reasons.

Agius has been with Saga for just over a year.

The business said in an update on the London Stock Exchange that group CEO Euan Sutherland assumes the responsibilities of interim CEO of Saga Insurance until a suitable replacement is appointed.

It added that he will be supported by the executive
