Analysis: Insurance dives deeper into returners talent pool
With an increasing number of insurance companies offering returners programmes, Emmanuel Kenning looks into the benefits for all concerned as experts encourage even more firms to access this relatively untapped source of talent
In March 2021 nine firms across brokers, insurers and long terms savings and retirement businesses (see box, below) signed up for a programme with Inclusivity Partners designed to help people who have had a career break find a role in insurance. This year the total has grown to 12.
Across the board, the businesses involved have praised the valuable and diverse perspectives those who have spent time out of the workforce can bring, the motivation of candidates and flagged the opportunity to fill
