David Coughlan replaces Mark Christer as UK personal lines boss at RSA

Christer leaves the insurer after 17 years including five in the personal lines MD role.

RSA has appointed David Coughlan as the managing director of its UK personal lines business taking up the role on 1 May.

He replaces Mark Christer who had been in the role since 2011 and is leaving the insurer.

Christer worked at RSA in a variety of positions for 17 years and was in charge of personal lines when the provider merged its UK affinity and personal lines broker teams to create one personal intermediated division.
