Market moves: Who's hiring

Brokers have not been very busy when it comes to market moves lately, perhaps due to the summer heat wave. 

Among those who did make staff changes, Hugh J Boswell Insurance Brokers promoted Phil Marler to its board of directors, while Henderson subsidiary Sports Insure made Nigel Hayden its managing director. In addition, Miller, BGL Group and Willis Towers Watson also confirmed new appointments.

Meanwhile Aon chief risk officer Keith Jackson moved to the Financial Conduct Authority (see Market Focus box), with John Nicholson taking up his role at the broker on an interim basis while it searches for
