As the number of insurance products aimed at private clients rises Ida Axling asks whether brokers are headed towards the HNW side of the market.

I have detected a significant rise in the number of high net worth offerings being launched over the last six months and a number of new players – both brokers and managing general agents - have entered the private client sector.

For example mortgage broker Enness recently expanded its offering with a bespoke insurance service targeting HNW business and Eastwood Private Clients stated in July that it aimed to double in size over two years.
