Ex-Marsh and Aon COO joins Thomas Carroll

David Whittaker, Thomas Carroll

The former chief operating officer of Aon’s UK retail business, David Whittaker, has joined Thomas Carroll Group in the same role.

He also previously spent nearly a decade at Marsh UK, where he was appointed as the first COO of its National Corporate Practice.

Thomas Carroll Group recently transitioned into an employee ownership trust which the broker flagged as key to its long-term succession plan, having never entertained the option of a trade sale.
