Software house Sirius Financial Solutions has increased its operating profit by 47% for the half year, ended 30 June, over last year.

Operating profit was £750,000, while overall revenues were £10.6m. Recurring revenues were also strong and grew £4.1m, up on 2004 by 10% and representing 38.5% of total revenues.

A company statement attributed the profits to strong sales of Sirius 21, which, since its launch in January 2005, has had 58 UK sales to brokers, bringing the total number of users to over
