Getting away from it all?

This year's International Travel Insurance Conference, held in France, attracted a large number of UK delegates. Tim Collison says it was not long before talk of falling premiums and fierce competition dominated the conference programme.

Delegates descending on Paris last month for this year's
International Travel Insurance Conference had a great deal to to talk
about. The UK market has undergone some fundamental changes in the last
year, so issues such as the recent Monopolies and Mergers Commission
ruling on conditional selling by travel agents were bound to be high on
the agenda.


As the venue was so close, the vast majority of the delegates were from
