A new national broker has been created following the 100% management buyout of HSBC Select.

Seven directors at HSBC Select used private investment funds to buy out the brokerage, forming new personal lines broker The Outright Company.

The company currently earns £50m premium income, putting it in the top 20 of UK brokers, and is led by former HSBC Select director Bob Bright.

The company has employed all 280 of HSBC Select's staff, who now work in a purpose built call centre in Stoke-on-Trent. The
