Aon is launching into the solicitors' professional indemnity sector following the Law Society's decision to allow its members to buy cover on the open market.However, the broker has been openly critical of the way in which the Solicitors Indemnity Fund is being dismantled and replaced with approved insurer facilities. Aon has hit out at the appointment of St Paul as the exclusive underwriter for the Managing General Agency.
