Hot on the heels of the launch of 24 7, commercial brokers are about
to be offered an internet-based broking system which, its developers
claim, will radically improve the way business is transacted.

Called Aleant, the system is the brainchild of two former McKinsey
partners: Theo Duchen and David McDonald. Details of the new IT offering
are still under wraps, though Mr McDonald told Professional Broking that
the product will be fundamentally different from any other system on the
market.
