With Labour almost effortlessly securing an historic second term in Government, they may now be comfortable enough for radical reform.

Just how much more radical will the re-elected Labour government
be?


We will probably have to wait until after the Queen's Speech later this
month and the publication of the subsequent draft legislation to answer
this question fully. However, all the signs are that this will be a much
more radical Government than we have seen over the past four years. This
could have far reaching consequences for the financial services
sector.
