Camberford Law is understood to be within weeks of receiving formal accreditation from Lloyd's for its London market broking operation.

A formal announcement is expected by the end of May, by which time Camberford Law hopes to have secured its own offices in the city. It currently places difficult risks in the London market, in particular material damage and property.

The move follows the company's recent restructure of its broking network offering, which saw the exit of managing director Lloyd
