The announcement last month by the Insurance Brokers RegistrationCouncil that it is outsourcing its administrative activities to a third
party went some way to allaying broker concerns about their regulatory
future in the short term, but still leaves endless questions
unanswered.
The statement issued by the IBRC was simply too short. But this is typical
of a council that has had communication problems over the last few
years.
