Household insurers are set to benefit from the government's proposedcrackdown on domestic burglary.
Last month, Home Secretary Jack Straw outlined a two-pronged approach to
tackling crime, put forward in the Home Office report, Reducing Crime and
Tackling its Causes.
The programme will see the introduction of three year minimum sentences
for those convicted of a third offence of domestic burglary, effective
