Of the various products launched onto the UK financial servicesmarket over the last 10-20 years, one has succeeded above all others.
Sales of long-term care insurance in its various forms continue to
languish, while major medical expenses cover has all but disappeared from
the scene.
However, critical illness (CI) insurance, a 1986 import from South Africa,
has gone - and continues to go - from strength to strength.
