CGU, the company formed following the merger of Commercial Union and
General Accident, has unveiled its first tranche of divisional
managers.


General Accident's Mike Hannan has been made director of underwriting and
Commercial Union's Arthur Singleton has been appointed director of
underwriting.


General Accident's former chief manager of the commercial division, Neil
McKenzie becomes director of broker marketing, and Commercial Union's
Douglas Pennycuick is now director of national brokers. Other
