Towergate is to launch e-Towergate this year, complementing plans to overhaul its structure. The separation of the group into two distinct divisions - underwriting and distribution - is understood will help it avoid any conflicts of interest.
Speaking to Professional Broking, Andy Homer described the new venture as: "A greenfield e-commerce operation at a new location." He added that premises were being readied to house the venture but could not say where this was as staff had not yet been told.
