The Law Society has published its list of approved insurers that willbe able to offer professional indemnity to solicitors on the open market
once the Solicitor Indemnity Fund ceases to offer cover at the end of
August. The insurers are: CGU, Hiscox, Royal & SunAlliance, Saturn
Professional Risks (MMA), The Underwriter, Zurich, ACE, Admiral
Underwriting Agencies, RE Brown, and Cox. St Paul is the exclusive
underwriter for the Managing General Agency, set up as a joint venture
with the Law Society.
