Specialist insurer Hiscox has moved to quell broker concerns that a high net worth distribution deal with National Australia Insurance Services may impact its existing broker strategy.
National Australia, which owns Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank and Northern Bank, has launched a HNW product with Hiscox, which it intends to offer through its sizeable network of bank branches.
However, a spokeswoman for Hiscox denied the deal signalled a change in strategy by the insurer toward volume distribution
