Brokers who want to sell-up may be forced to delay because of the
rocketing price of run-off professional indemnity cover, according to PI
specialist Dickson Manchester.


Dickson Manchester is reporting run-off premium increases of more than
400% on renewal and some ex-brokers are even having their renewals
refused.


One such broker, who sold his business in 1998, is now facing becoming
uninsurable, with six new carriers refusing cover.
