Norwich Union has confirmed rumours that it is withdrawing from the
large corporate risk market.


Ken Wallace, NU's intermediary business director, has confirmed that the
insurer is now concentrating on the £5000-£20,000 premium bracket, with
anything higher than £100,000 "judged on its own merits".


The company remains committed to fleet and property owner business, and
will continue to write business of any size in these categories.


Speculation about NU started with the company's decision to pull
