Q: How can we improve our letters to prospective new clients?


A: Most people will scan your letter impatiently looking for offers of
interest to them, so you must get straight to the point. Take note of
copywriters who sell by eliminating all words that do not make offers,
highlight benefits or promote features.


Begin with a short, bold headline highlighting your most important offer
in order to persuade your customer to read on. Sub-headings must be offers
and summarise the proposition contained
