Groupamagan is to close five offices as a result of the mergerbetween GAN and Lombard.
The closures will occur in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and
Birmingham, where there is duplication of branches. Lombard and GAN
currently have nine sites each in the UK.
The newly-formed company expects to have 95% of 1200 jobs assigned by
October. It is expected that there will be a 20% reduction in staff, as a
result of natural wastage, and voluntary and compulsory redundancies.
