Outsourcing and service provider the Eastgate Group has been bought
by the Capita Group, as predicted by Professional Broking (November,
p3).


Capita, which already owned 26% of Eastgate, has acquired Eastgate's UK
interests. Ken Randall, group chief executive of Eastgate, has left the
company, taking over its US interests.


Paul Pindar, chief executive of Capita, said: "Eastgate will be rebranded
with the Capita name. We will integrate the business, take it forward and
