George Higginson has resigned from his position of underwriter at
Link Insurance after 27 years with the company. Mr Higginson, who is 55,
will leave at the end of January, and will be replaced by his deputy,
Steve Tidd.


Steve Tidd, 35, joined Kiln (Link's managing agent) in 1984 and managed
the research and development department for Link Insurances in Maidstone
for seven years. Part of his remit was to liaise with software houses.
