Who is to blame?

The Government has pledged to reform the law on involuntary manslaughter but the implementation of new legislation has been less than swift. Simon Hasego explains.

The Government published its proposals to reform the law on
involuntary manslaughter in May last year. At the time it was widely
expected legislation would follow quickly and companies in the sector,
including law firms and insurers, pored over the proposals and produced
summaries pointing out the possible implications for businesses and their
directors.
