The Broker Network has secured the backing of seven stakeholders following the exit of its long-standing venture capital partner Capricorn. BNL shares pepped up 5% after the stock market welcomed the news. Headline stakeholders now include Fram Lincoln, Ennismore and MD Barnard.

BNL chief executive Grant Ellis told PB: "The timing was ideal - having been listed on AIM for a year - as we were a bit of an unknown quantity to the market to start with. I am very happy with the first year of trading
