Worrying times for brokers?
With all the recent merger upheaval and the introduction of new regulations currently rocking the world of insurance, should brokers be worrying or should they just carry on as they always have?
Those readers of a certain age may recall the words "what, me worry?"as being the catchphrase of Alfred E Neuman, of Mad Magazine. On a recent
visit to WHSmith, I was encouraged to see both the publication and the
catchphrase live on, although the price of the magazine has increased from
the two shillings (10p) of my youth, to £2.50.
In many ways, the phrase sums up how brokers get on with things,
irrespective of what is going on in the market place or the economy in
