QBE International Insurance has appointed Gary Norman to its general liability division, with particular emphasis on the underwriting of medical and pharmaceutical business. Mr Norman previously managed the HIH (UK) Lloyd's liability portfolios. Andrew Davies has joined the crisis management area of the speciality lines division to underwrite sabotage and terrorism insurance.
