The Financial Services Authority has appointed Rob McIvor as its new head of media and web communications. He has been a senior member of the FSA press team covering retail financial services since 2000. He joined from The Woolwich, where he was corporate public relations manager and, prior to this, he held communications posts at the Institute of Directors, Wickes and in corporate public relations consultancies.
