Broking group Oval has acquired Birmingham-based commercial broker Beddis & Partners for a mixture of cash and Oval shares. The deal, backed by Oval-supporting Caledonia Investments, will see Peter Beddis join the Oval Board and continue as West Midlands managing director with his team of four shareholding directors. The deal includes B&P's three principal business divisions plus its 60 staff at its Barwick Street headquarters.
