The Chartered Insurance Institute has launched a new corporate
identity.

It has re-cast the upper part of its coat of arms "in a totally modern and
much simplified way", replacing the previous logo with the full coat of
arms in a graduated flash, which was introduced in 1980. The traditional
full coat of arms will continue to be used on formal documents, such as
examination certificates.
