Winchester Insurance Systems has announced it will update insurers'
rates on its new CAS system within 48 hours. The software house says it
will also implement new insurance schemes within one week of receiving
them from insurers.


Updating rates previously took up to two months and implementing new
schemes up to six months. The new times only apply to Polaris-based
schemes, however, with Polaris' ProductWriter and rating engine allowing
for the quicker updates. CAS was launched in December
