Lloyd's managing group SVB, has set up an Internet facility designed
to give brokers increased access to its underwriters.


Fusion Underwriting Services will be made available to 50 brokers by the
end of the year, with 200 regional, national and London market members
predicted within a year and a half.


The initiative will allow a range of commercial lines products to be
purchased electronically on a 24-hour basis. Instant quotations will be
