Highway to new broker relations.
Highway's split with Edgar Hamilton has come as a result of changes in the motor market. The syndicate is planning to improve its services for brokers and, ultimately, the client.
The decision to end our contract with Edgar Hamilton and use two mainguaranteeing brokers instead of three, was the result of a combination of
factors.
These included: economic common-sense, the fact that financial agreements
between non-Lloyd's intermediaries and syndicates will soon no longer have
to be guaranteed by Lloyd's brokers, and our determination to rely upon
already close relationships with key brokers on a direct basis.
