Last month, Norwich Union dipped into its coffers to provide
sponsorship for the Edinburgh Tattoo for the first time. The insurer
provided funds to cover the transport costs of the bands, who were
travelling from Germany, England and Scotland. Norwich Union, which is the
single largest military insurer in the UK, invited a group of
intermediaries to the event as a means of thanking them for their support
over the last year. The Tattoo ran for three weeks, from 6 August to 28
August.
