Groupama expects to become the eighth-largest healthcare insurance provider in the UK with a gross written premium of over £60m following its acquisition of Clinicare from French mutual insurer AZUR GMF.
The purchase was formally completed on 9 November for an undisclosed sum and has been approved by the Financial Services Authority.
