Kevin Young, chairman of the Creditors of Independent Insurance
Group, has called for brokers to get behind the group and encourage
clients to contribute funds. He warned that the CIIG may not have enough
money to proceed if more is not found.


Mr Young said: "We have enough money to do a feasibility study but we need
£1m if we are to take this to conclusion and at present we don't have
anything like that. It would be inappropriate to use money already put
