Former director general of the Association of British Insurers Mike
Jones has been made redundant from his position of director of
communications at Royal SunAlliance following the creation of the "office
of the group chief executive" at the company.


He will be replaced by Malcolm Gilbert who has been appointed director
communications of the external communication and investor relations
areas.


Stuart Degg has been appointed to head up the overall function as director
office of the group chief
