While the marketing efforts of brokers have improved during the past decade, Royal & SunAlliance's learning and development consultant, Oscar Holmes, urged brokers to focus on how they can use marketing to identify, anticipate and satisfy customer requirements.
He outlined the need for brokers to understand who their target customers are; to build products and services they want; ensure their proposition stands out; and utilise their marketing resources and assets effectively.
