Lloyd's broker Thompson Heath and Bond has acquired the business of West End brokers White & Wilson, which specialises in providing cover for the media and entertainment industry.
White & Wilson was set up in 1994 by managing director Deborah White and employs 24 staff. The acquisition will add about £6.5m to THB's annual brokerage and will make THB one of the largest Lloyd's brokers in the sector.
THB's end of year result was £10.1m in 1999, up 44% on 1998. It provides specialist cover for
