Insurance intermediary Hill House Hammond is continuing its
acquisition spree with the purchase of books of business from Hosking &
Lake in Christchurch and Cramb & Symons Insurance Services in
Plymouth.


From the former it bought motor and home portfolios and from the latter,
the personal lines and commercial portfolio.


Hosking & Lake is concentrating its activities on commercial broking,
while Cramb & Symons said it plans to continue to operate its financial
and specialist insurance services.
